Gateway is partnering with LifePointe Ministries. There is still time to help with the SPECIFIC NEEDS for this homeless ministry in Titusville: MEN’S UNDERWEAR, UNDERSHIRTS, SKIVVIES, SOCKS; MEN’S BELTS, MEN’s SMALL WAISTED PANTS (28″-32″). DIABETIC SOCKS. They are not accepting any other types of clothes at this time. Please drop your donations off in the church office, or in the bin in the Sanctuary entry. Collection is through October 24.
Walk for Bibles – Plan to ‘Walk for Bibles’ on November 13, time frame is 8am-12 noon. This fundraiser is to help the Seafarers Ministry at the Port provide and distribute Bibles and Christian literature to all the seafarers that come through that ministry. Bring your family and walk! Get friends and extended family to support you for walking the 1, 2 or 4 miles.
GriefShare Support Group meets on Tuesdays from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. GriefShare is for anyone having a difficult time dealing with a loved one’s passing. This support group gives insight and helps you deal with your grief. Call the church office or see Melanie Casper to sign up. Fee is $20 for this 13 week support group class and for the book you will need.
Fill your Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes and return them by November 14. Still need a shoebox? Get one (or two or three!) atthe back of the sanctuary and fill it with surprises for kids. If you don’t know what to fill it with, pick up a paper on the table with a list of suggested items.
#Pray 2021 prayer card- please pray for Gateway during the week, for just 4 or 5 minutes a day- and see what God can do with that4 or 5 minutes of prayer!
Don’t forget your shoe donation for “Shoes for Kristina and Ivan.” The Poweska’s just need 2 more bags of shoes for their goal-by giving our old and worn shoes, we are helping give Kristina and Ivan, who live in an orphanage, a home!
